what to do when item is retained by usps custom

I checked on my tracking #, and this is what information technology says:
Your detail is being processed by United States Customs.
Here is what happened earlier:
Apr 4 five:22 pm Inbound INTERNATIONAL Inflow KENNEDY AMC NY 11430
Does that hateful it is existence seized, or is in the procedure of going through customs?

I think it means customs is going to inspect the package.

I checked it on the USPS website... I went to track and confirm..> And the message said my item is being processed by U.s. customs... BTW the package is coming from Romania

perhaps processing could be the term they use for dispersing overseas mail-I'one thousand sure kennedy has a large book of mail coming in and at that place is a process of sorting and some inspection or whatever-I wouldn't lose all promise yet. Good luck.

I just got a package from Romania the other twenty-four hour period. You will probably have to sign for it. It should have a red ticket taped to the package you lot have to sign. Just brand sure it doesn't wait like the package was opened and taped shut again.

You will get your package. You only happen to track your package will they posted the tracking at the customs office. All that means is they are bringing it over the boarder.. Dont worry, I know this for a fact. A bro of mine use to work for customs and so I have a MAJOR within runway

When you have something shipped international express (or any type of express thru USPS) there regulation is to mail someday it makes a finish and changes easily or transportaion methods It just means that your package has arrived in the states. I go stuff sent from mainland china all the fourth dimension that way and it ever has that listed when I check the tracking at the website. It will probably sit there for two or 3 days. Then it volition say something like "outbound, in road to information technology'due south commitment destination" when it says that, it has cleared and you lot volition get it in almost ii days. Basically, information technology have most 5 days to get it from the twenty-four hours it reached u.s..

i get it sent to a place similar mail boxes etc. They sign for the packages when information technology comes in and then I do not accept besides. Anyway, the stuff from china is growth, not as big of a bargain as most AS.

Hey I have a question most USPS tracking...I sent a pkg to a strange land the other twenty-four hour period(express mail)When I track it all it says is that it left the country on April 2nd...why hasn't it said antything since then?? Shouldn't it tell me when information technology reaches its destination b/c it should be there by now??? Is USPS tracking boring or something???

It was global express post....information technology is supposed to have 2-3 days that why I want to know if the damn matter is at that place anabolic steroids or not...It should be there past at present...I'll never ship shit USPS again...FedEx tracking is much more relaible.
