As you have mentioned y'all tried connecting to USB port but zero happens. I suggest you to follow the steps below and cheque if it works fine:

Method1: Run Hardware troubleshooter.

1. Press Windows key and type troubleshooting.

2. Select troubleshooting and click on hardware and sound.

3. Select hardware and device and click on next to proceed with the troubleshooting.

Method 2:Update the USB drivers.

If the issue nonetheless persist, I would suggest you to update the USB drivers and check if information technology helps.

1. Printing Windo ws fundamental + 10, select device manager.

 2. In Device Director, locate the USB drivers you lot want to update, then right click on that driver and click on update drivers.

Let us know the status.

It's independent from usb drivers. The photo app has no import function even so -> useless.

Try using the windows essentials 2012 instead.

Equally y'all accept mentioned y'all tried connecting to USB port but nothing happens. I suggest you lot to follow the steps beneath and check if information technology works fine:

 ii. In Device Manager, locate the USB drivers you want to update, and then right click on that driver and click on update drivers.

Let united states know the status.

tried both these options and none of them worked. nothing institute in trouble shooting and the device driver was up to date. withal unable to download photos from my Nikon d5000 camera.

plugged my Kodak digital camera into a USB port and imported all my photos without whatever problem.  using windows ten.    no issues at all.
